Please note that a deposit of 50% of the total is required in advance on all site design. Part of this may be nonreturnable if you decide to cancel after work has already been completed. Time already spent will determine the amount. Also note that my fee only covers design and build of the website or graphics. You must then register a domain name and rent web space from a hosting company to upload the site to the Internet.

Hosting packages...

Domain registration fees vary from host to host. Hosting fees are dependent on the company you choose and are normally charged annually in advance. The hosting package you choose will depend on the type of site and the amount of traffic you expect to generate. They can range from £25 per year for shared hosting up to £50 or more per month for a dedicated server, depending on your needs. .
I can advise you and arrange a hosting plan for you, or in the case of smaller sites supply the web space myself at a reasonable rate.
We can discuss this when you place your order and work out the best hosting plan for your individual needs.

A rough price guide for basic website...

A straightforward design will normally cost around £50.00 per page on sites consisting of from one to five pages.
Additional pages after that are reduced to £25.00 each. Please note that this pricing scale is for straightforward text content and photos.
Catalogue pages for E-commerce sites may be slightly more expensive due to the extra effort of individual pricing and purchasing options.

A basic five page package will cost around £250.00 and take two to three weeks to complete. Please note that this for the design and build only. It does not include hosting fees or domain registration.

Forms on your website...

I will include one contact form (either pop up window or normal page) for free if required. A contact form using Php code will be processed on the server, therefore your E-mail address will be more secure against hackers and spammers the form can be included in any of the other pages or be a separate page altogether.
Any other forms you may require for collecting information from your visitors will be charged for according to their complexity.

Banners, logos and animations...

The subject of graphics on a site is vast. If you have anything special in mind this can be discussed before work begins or even during the process.
If you have your own existing artwork this can be copied and used on your site. If not I will design you a basic banner free of charge. Any additional images and animations may incur further costs.
